Once a year. Gas parts wear out over time even if you don't use the fireplace much. A yearly check finds small problems before they become big ones.
A full check of your fireplace: burner, pilot light, gas valve, ignition, venting, glass seal, and a carbon monoxide test. You get a PDF report and a clear quote if anything needs fixing.
Usually it's a worn-out part called a thermocouple. It's a common, low-cost fix. Don't keep relighting it — get it checked to be safe.
Yes. Gas fireplaces build up dust, soot, and sometimes insects inside the burner and vents. Buildup can hurt how well it works. Our service cleans it all out.
About 45 to 60 minutes. The tech will explain what he found before he leaves, and you'll get your PDF report the same day.
Yes. All of our technicians are CSIA-certified and background-checked. We've been a family business since 1989 — we take every visit seriously.
